Description

Sweet and spicy with a touch of coffee, this cowboy rub will wake up your taste buds! It doesn’t get any easier than mixing the seasonings and rubbing it on steak, roasts, brisket – any cut of beef will do!

Ingredients

2 tsp (10 mL) brown sugar

2 tsp (10 mL) ground coriander

2 tsp (10 mL) ground cumin

2 tsp (10 mL) ground fennel

2 tsp (10 mL) chili powder

2 tsp (10 mL) espresso ground coffee

2 tsp (10 mL) salt

1 tsp (5 mL) garlic powder

1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder

1 tsp (5 mL) smoked paprika

1 tsp (5 mL) black pepper


Instructions

Lightly brush a pre-heated grill or grill-pan with oil or nonstick spray. In a medium bowl combine all rub ingredients. Coat steak(s) well on both sides. Grill steak until it reaches desired doneness.
